TSUKIHIME


Tsukihime, literally translated as The Lunar Princess, is a Japanese doujin visual novel developed by Type-Moon and it was released on August 2000 for the Japanese version, followed by the English version on December 2006. Tsukihime is Type-Moon's first game, and along with Fate/Stay Night it was considered as one of the most recognizable brands in the doujin gaming world. The player assumes the role of Shiki Tohno, a second year high school student of Misaki Town. After experiencing a car crash when he was young, Shiki was able to see the Lines of Death inherent in all things. Eight years later he is called back home by his younger sister, Akiha Tohno following his father’s death. At the same time, the serial murder have been occurring throughout the city and Shiki must use his powers to confront this unnatural incident. The gameplay in Tsukihime follows an interactive branching plot line with five scenarios, each focusing one of the game's heroine; Arcueid, Ciel, Akiha, Hisui, and Kohaku. Throughout gameplay, the player is given multiple options to choose from and each heroine have a true ending.
