MUSHIHIMESAMA

Mushihimesama, literally translates as Bug Princess, is a vertically manic shooter developed by Cave, released in 2004 and followed in multiple consoles with the Microsoft Windows version by Degica in 2015. Set in a world full of oversized insects called Koujuu, Mushihimesama follows the story of Reco, a 15-year-old girl who enters the Shinju Forest in an attempt to defend her people from poisonous life-form. Like similar games from the era, Mushihimesama is all about dodging enemy fire and powering up the character. The PC version is based on the Xbox 360 and includes the same Novice, Original, and Arrange modes rendered with HD graphics. Novice Mode serves as a great purpose for beginners; Normal Mode is based on the original arcade, it’s harder than novice but still manageable; Arranged Mode is a remixed version of Maniac in which enemies will have more firepower, but the player starts will full power and autobombing feature.
