TWILIGHT REFRAIN


TWilight refrAIN is a vertically scrolling shooter developed by 永久る~ぷ and the second installment of the trilogy. The story is set during the late 2090, after mankind has begun the next generation of research and development by constructing a virtual world known as Illnet. TWilight refrAIN focuses on a group of teenagers, who across multiple stages in the computer network for different motives. Gameplay in TWilight refrAIN is similar to TWilight INSanity, the game features three pair of characters to choose from, each character has different sets of skills and they can swap places with each other. TWilight series are notable for non-linear branching routes with decision points that can affect the route taken through the game, which can also be influenced by the player choices, dialogues and boss progression. A major addition to TWilight refrAIN is rings which affects what stages a player will reach. The more rings the better, and player can gain rings by choosing the right choices or get a high rank. TWilight refrAIN was released at Comiket 74, on August 16, 2008.
