TSUKUMOGAMI

After her mother was slain by the demons, Hanabusa spends her days hunting them in revenge. Thanks to a white fox named Kamiya who gives her Gokon Sword, Hanabusa is able to recognize the true forms of the spirits and vanquish them. Set in ancient medieval folklore, Tsukumogami (English: 99 Spirits) is a traditional Japanese puzzle RPG with interesting combat mechanics and engaging storyline. The Tsukumogami are everyday objects which are obscured and player are required to expose them via the Gokon Sword. The battle is based on rhythm and timing where the player must react to the enemy in real time with counter attacks. However, each move drains energy and the sword will also gradually decay and requires Whetstone to maintain its effectiveness. Throughout the story players are introduced to a multitude of characters, 40 in total. The original Japanese version was released in August 2012 and followed by the English version in May 2013.
