Adol Christin, a red-haired swordman, washes up on the shore of the isle of Canaan when his ship is attacked by a fleet of Romun ships. Adol discovered by two young priestesses of the Rehda village, Olha and Isha. Adol is nursed back to health, and soon proves his worth among the people by slaying a great monster. From there his journey expands to the secrets that the islands and their ruins hold. Ys: The Ark of Napishtim (Japanese: Ys: Napishutemu no Hako) is an action role playing game developed by Nihon Falcom Corporation for Microsoft Windows in 2003. The Ark of Napishtim is the sixth game in the series and it was notable for being the first English release of the series since Ys III: Wanderers from Ys. It was ported to multiple consoles includes PlayStation 2 (2005), PlayStation Portable (2006) and Mobile Phone (2007).
